Ivo graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno in 2004. After graduation, he started working as a general veterinarian at Veterinární klinika Novovysočanská (veterinary clinic). He worked here for two years, during which he began to specialize in soft tissue surgery.

In 2006 he successfully passed the selection procedure for the position of veterinarian at the AA Vet veterinary hospital, where he expanded his knowledge in the field of soft surgery and began to focus on orthopedics and hard tissue surgery.

In addition to these fields, he deals with anesthesiology and orthopedic radiology.
